Use Clear Cache for a first app-storage test when the player still knows its account. Clear Data is a broader reset and may require the playlist or login to be entered again. Treat those buttons as different operations rather than pressing both automatically.

Why this happens
Temporary cached files and persistent account settings have different purposes. A clean cache can rebuild normally, while erased app data may leave an otherwise valid account looking unconfigured.
Work through the steps
- Write down the verified login or playlist recovery route.
- Open Settings, Applications and Manage Installed Applications.
- Select the exact player and choose Clear Cache.
- Reopen it and test before considering Clear Data.
What to avoid
Do not publish credentials in a screenshot of the app settings. If the original setup cannot be recovered, obtain it privately before taking an action that removes data.
Know what changed
The original account should remain available after the cache test. If the player returns to its first-run screen, restore the verified setup instead of purchasing another subscription immediately.
