Review image fit in both the player and television. A television zoom setting can crop menus and subtitles even when the same content appears complete on another device.

Why this happens
The player can scale the video inside a frame that the television scales again. Cropping at either stage can remove useful edge information.
Work through the steps
- Open a screen with visible edge text.
- Select the player fit or original-aspect mode if offered.
- Review LG picture-size controls for that model.
- Compare another app and a second source.
What to avoid
Do not force an unsupported output resolution to correct a crop. Keep a note of the original picture setting before changing it.
Know what changed
Menus and subtitle lines should fit without distorted proportions. A single-title mismatch should be examined as a source or subtitle-format issue.
