Use Infomir's exact-model display guidance and the television's supported modes. A selected output that the display cannot accept can remove the picture even while the box continues running.
Why this happens
The box output and television input must agree on a supported format. Raising resolution is not a universal improvement and can make the interface inaccessible.
Work through the steps
- Confirm the television is on the correct input.
- Record the MAG model and last selected output if known.
- Follow that model's documented video-output recovery procedure.
- Choose a mode supported by the television and connection.
What to avoid
Do not use a reset sequence from a different MAG model. Avoid blind firmware changes to recover a simple display-mode mismatch.
Know what changed
The portal and menus should remain visible after a normal restart. If picture is stable directly to the TV but fails through a receiver, check that extra display path separately.
