An M3U setup commonly gives the player one private playlist URL. Xtream-style login commonly separates server, username and password. These are different input methods, and the provider must supply correct values for your player. One format is not automatically a different subscription or higher picture quality.

Why it matters
A playlist URL can contain credentials, while the server field normally expects only the supplied server address. Pasting the whole URL there can fail even with otherwise valid account details.
Work through the steps
- Read the selected setup mode before copying values.
- Use the issued playlist or separate credentials in matching fields.
- Keep both private and ask before guessing or converting values.
What to avoid
The useful takeaway
Formats do not establish availability, connections or rights. Players may handle guides and categories differently. Follow the installed version and never publish real credentials in either type of example.
