Installation and app source

Confirm the exact publisher, Android requirements and package source. Avoid third-party code lists and APK mirrors that cannot establish the app identity.

App installation and settings depend on Android version and manufacturer. No particular native HotPlayer phone edition was independently verified.

Enter your own account

Enter the account format requested by the player. A full M3U URL is different from separate server, username and password fields.

Choose the login mode the player actually supports. Enter the server, username and password in their respective fields, or use the private playlist URL if that is what the app requests. A player licence remains separate from the source account.

Network and everyday playback

Compare Wi-Fi with permitted mobile data while keeping the same player and source. Record whether one or both networks fail.

Review orientation lock and the player fit controls. Phone screen resolution does not determine the quality of an incoming stream.

Confirm media volume, Bluetooth/headphone routing and the available audio track.

Maintenance without losing your setup

Restart through the manufacturer-supported power controls, then reopen the player.

Use Google Play for installed-store app updates and the phone update settings for Android firmware.

Open the app-information page and clear cache first. Clear storage/data or uninstalling can erase saved account information.

If the problem remains

Record the device model, operating system, app name and version, exact error and local time of the failure. Say whether another programme works in the same app. That comparison helps distinguish an individual source problem from a general device or account fault.
