Installation and app source

Confirm the App Store listing supports iPad. A tablet-friendly layout can differ from a phone or television edition.

Multitasking, Picture in Picture and external-display behavior depend on the app and device. Native HotPlayer iPad availability was not verified.

Enter your own account

Use touch or a supported keyboard and inspect pasted credentials for altered punctuation.

Choose the login mode the player actually supports. Enter the server, username and password in their respective fields, or use the private playlist URL if that is what the app requests. A player licence remains separate from the source account.

Network and everyday playback

Check the selected Wi-Fi network. Only cellular-capable models can use a mobile-data plan directly.

Test portrait and landscape where the app supports both. Use fit controls that keep subtitles and navigation visible.

Confirm the selected speaker, headphones or Bluetooth route. Keep player track choice distinct from system output choice.

Maintenance without losing your setup

Close and reopen an unresponsive app, then restart the iPad if necessary.

Use the App Store account area and App Updates. Update iPadOS through its system software-update controls.

iPadOS does not expose a universal per-app cache button. Deleting a player can remove local playlist and account state.

If the problem remains

Record the device model, operating system, app name and version, exact error and local time of the failure. Say whether another programme works in the same app. That comparison helps distinguish an individual source problem from a general device or account fault.
