Installation and app source

Use the verified App Store listing and its iPhone compatibility information. Player activation and a streaming subscription can be separate purchases.

AirPlay and background playback are app-specific. Neither an Android APK nor a TV-only listing establishes an iPhone installation route.

Enter your own account

Use touch controls and inspect pasted account fields for leading or trailing spaces.

Choose the login mode the player actually supports. Enter the server, username and password in their respective fields, or use the private playlist URL if that is what the app requests. A player licence remains separate from the source account.

Network and everyday playback

Confirm Wi-Fi, or the app cellular-data permission in Settings > Cellular. Consider mobile-data allowance before repeating playback tests.

Use player fit/aspect controls and review orientation lock. A cropped zoom mode can hide subtitles without changing source quality.

Check speaker, headphones or Bluetooth routing and adjust media volume during playback. Select another audio track only when one is provided.

Maintenance without losing your setup

Close and reopen the affected app, then restart the iPhone if it remains unresponsive.

Open the App Store account area and App Updates. Keep iOS maintained through the device software-update controls.

iOS has no universal Android-style Clear Cache command. A player can offer its own cleanup controls; deleting it may remove local data.

If the problem remains

Record the device model, operating system, app name and version, exact error and local time of the failure. Say whether another programme works in the same app. That comparison helps distinguish an individual source problem from a general device or account fault.
