Installation and app source

On newer webOS televisions, open Home and Apps to search. Older models may use LG Content Store; install the listing supported by the exact TV.

An Android APK is not a webOS application. A full TV reset removes account settings and installed apps.

Enter your own account

Use the direction pad or Magic Remote pointer where supported. App editing and pointer behavior depend on the model.

Choose the login mode the player actually supports. Enter the server, username and password in their respective fields, or use the private playlist URL if that is what the app requests. A player licence remains separate from the source account.

Network and everyday playback

LG documents All Settings > General > Network on 2021-and-later models. Earlier versions can place network controls under Connection or Network.

Review picture and aspect controls in the model guide. A television zoom option can crop app text independently of source resolution.

Check sound output and the player track. Comparing TV speakers with a soundbar helps separate a source problem from an external audio chain.

Maintenance without losing your setup

Close and reopen the player, then restart the TV according to its model instructions. Reset to Initial Settings is a different, destructive operation.

Update the player in the app store and webOS through the TV update controls. Let installation finish and restart when prompted.

webOS has no single Android-style cache command for all TVs. For one persistent app fault, update or reinstall after retaining its setup details.

If the problem remains

Record the device model, operating system, app name and version, exact error and local time of the failure. Say whether another programme works in the same app. That comparison helps distinguish an individual source problem from a general device or account fault.
