Installation and app source

Open Apps on the TV and search for the player listed for that model and store region. Verify the developer before buying an app licence.

Tizen cannot install an Android APK as a TV app. A Smart Hub reset signs other apps out and is a last-resort action, not a routine restart.

Enter your own account

Use the remote and on-screen keyboard. Check capitals and punctuation that can be difficult to distinguish at viewing distance.

Choose the login mode the player actually supports. Enter the server, username and password in their respective fields, or use the private playlist URL if that is what the app requests. A player licence remains separate from the source account.

Network and everyday playback

Check the TV network status and compare another online app. A single failed player does not prove a household internet failure.

Use the model picture/aspect controls. A zoomed picture can crop subtitles or menus even when the underlying video is playing.

Check TV mute and speaker versus external sound output, then the player audio track. Compare another app before changing the entire sound setup.

Maintenance without losing your setup

Samsung documents unplugging the television for 30 seconds and reconnecting it for a soft reset. Test the app again after startup.

Use the TV settings under Support > Software Update > Update Now when those labels are present. Menu entry points vary with model.

There is no universal cache path across every Samsung TV. Close and reopen the app first; preserve account details before reinstalling.

If the problem remains

Record the device model, operating system, app name and version, exact error and local time of the failure. Say whether another programme works in the same app. That comparison helps distinguish an individual source problem from a general device or account fault.
