A playlist URL is an internet address from which a player retrieves a playlist. It can point to a static file or a server-generated response associated with an account. The address may include private credentials or tokens, and it can stop working if its host, parameters, permission or account state changes.

A practical example
A customer receives one address and pastes it into the player's playlist field. The app downloads the list from that address; it does not need the user to manually type every channel location, provided the resource is valid and accessible.
A common misunderstanding
Avoid sharing the entire address when requesting public help. A working URL can expose an account, and changing characters, spacing or parameters may make an otherwise correct address fail.
