A baseball series can include several games between the same teams over consecutive days. Game number, starting time and home or away presentation help distinguish the intended broadcast, especially during a doubleheader.

A full-event feed, a highlights programme and a multi-event presentation are different choices. When you discuss access, name the fixture or session and the presentation you want. Commentary language and the broadcaster’s regional edition are useful identifiers.

Use the competition’s official calendar for the fixture date and session time, then compare it with your own time zone. Events can cross midnight locally. The on-screen guide may label a programme with its broadcaster’s schedule rather than your preferred local display.

A start time describes the scheduled programme or session, not a guarantee of when every part of the event will occur. Leave room for pre-event coverage and possible schedule changes.

• Open the player ahead of the event so login and guide problems are visible early.
• Use a network connection that has worked during your normal viewing hours.
• Keep the full event name, date, local time and commentary language in any support request.
• Avoid changing several player settings at once if a feed fails; compare another programme first.
