Reseller credit

A reseller credit is an accounting unit used by a particular service to allocate or purchase account access. It has no universal value or duration across providers. The package price, credit consumption, permitted uses, expiry and reversal rules must come from the actual reseller arrangement, rather than being borrowed from a different company's panel or offer.

Credit conversion

Credit conversion is the rule connecting a reseller's credit deduction with a particular account action, term or package. It is specific to the service and can include conditions or exceptions. Without that mapping, a package's credit quantity and price are insufficient to determine the cost of serving a customer for a chosen period.

Credit balance

A credit balance is the quantity of reseller units recorded as available in a particular account or ledger. Its meaning depends on pending transactions, reservations and the service's accounting rules. It is separate from cash profit or a guaranteed number of customers, because future account actions can consume different quantities under the relevant conversion mapping.

Credit allocation

Credit allocation assigns reseller units to an account action or another permitted destination under the panel's rules. It might occur during account creation, renewal or an authorized transfer, depending on the system. An allocation should be traceable so the reseller can explain what changed and which customer or request the deduction belongs to in the ledger.

Credit ledger

A credit ledger is a record of reseller credit movements, including purchases, deductions and supported adjustments. It helps reconcile expected and actual balances and connect changes to orders or clients. It should distinguish credit units from money, preserve clear references and avoid storing customer secrets merely because the ledger supports operational work.

Client onboarding

Client onboarding is the process of collecting the information needed to set up and support a new customer under the actual offer. For a viewing service, relevant details can include device, player, requested term and agreed access limits. Clear onboarding reduces avoidable setup mistakes without requiring unnecessary personal information or public sharing of credentials.

Panel permissions

Panel permissions control which actions an account or role can perform inside a management system. Available controls differ between services and panel designs. Restricting access to the tasks a person actually needs can reduce accidental changes or inappropriate exposure of customer information, while still allowing legitimate support or operational work within the authorised arrangement.

Wholesale order

A wholesale order is a purchase made for onward supply or business use under agreed commercial terms. In reseller operations it can involve a larger credit quantity, but volume alone does not establish a discount, refund rule or special permission. The unit cost and relevant obligations need to be calculated from the actual quotation and agreement.

Distributor role

A distributor role describes a business or management position that can sit between a service and other sellers, depending on the actual arrangement. Its rights are not universal. Credit transfers, sub-account creation, branding and support responsibilities must be explicitly supported and agreed, rather than inferred from the title printed on a marketing page.

Margin

Margin describes the relationship between selling revenue and the costs included in a defined calculation. A reseller needs to state which costs and denominator are being used, because margin and markup are different measures. Credit cost, payment fees, refunds and support work can affect the result, so a headline retail price is not the same as profit.
